Vortrag: „Sexismus im Punk“
Das Akronym FLINTA steht für „Frauen, Lesben, Intersexuelle-, Nicht-Binäre-, Transgender- und Agender-Personen“. Der Begriff dient der Sichtbarmachung von Geschlechtsidentitäten und eint somit alle Menschen, die von patriarchalen Strukturen betroffen sind – auch und gerade in der Punkszene. Diana Ringelsiep und Ronja Schwikowski möchten mit ihrem Buch Menschen eine Plattform geben, die es leid sind, in ihrem subkulturellen Umfeld bloß gesehen, aber nicht gehört zu werden.
50 Autor*innen berichten in diesem Sammelband davon, was sie als FLINTA in der Szene erlebten bzw. erleben mussten. Gleichzeitig gehen sie darauf ein, was ihnen Punk bedeutet und warum es sich aus ihrer Sicht für diese Subkultur zu kämpfen lohnt. 50 unterschiedliche Erfahrungsberichte, die einen unmittelbaren Einblick in den Alltag von FLINTA verschiedenster biografischer Hintergründe gewähren.
Der Veranstaltungsbeitrag ist nicht nur eine Lesung mit Auszügen aus dem Buch „PUNK as F*CK -die Szene aus FLINTA Perspektive“, welches Anfang September 2022 beim Ventil Verlag erscheint, sondern auch ein Vortrag zu den Themen Punk und Feminismus und zur #punktoo Bewegung, die für Diana und Ronja die Grundlage für die Arbeit am Buch war.

Lecture: „Sexism in Punk“
The acronym FLINTA stands for „Women, Lesbians, Intersexual-, Non-Binary-, Transgender- and Agender-Persons“. The term serves to make gender identities visible and thus unites all people who are affected by patriarchal structures – also and especially in the punk scene. With their book, Diana Ringelsiep and Ronja Schwikowski want to give a platform to people who are tired of merely being seen but not heard in their subcultural environment.
50 authors report in this anthology about what they experienced or had to experience as FLINTA in the scene. At the same time, they discuss what punk means to them and why, from their point of view, it is worth fighting for this subculture. 50 different accounts of their experiences, which provide a direct insight into the everyday life of FLINTA from a wide variety of biographical backgrounds.
The event contribution is not only a reading with excerpts from the book „PUNK as F*CK -die Szene aus FLINTA Perspektive“, which will be published by Ventil Verlag in early September 2022, but also a lecture on the topics of punk and feminism and the #punktoo movement, which was the basis for Diana and Ronja to work on the book.

Ronja Schwikowski, geboren 1983 in Regensburg, wurde durch Punk in Bayern und in Nordrhein-Westfalen sozialisiert. Sie veröffentlichte zwischen 2007 und 2012 das Influenza Fanzine, in allen Ausgaben des A5-Copyshop Zines stand das Thema „Frauen im Punk“ im Vordergrund. Seit 2014 ist sie Chefredakteurin beim Plastic Bomb Fanzine und Geschäftsführerin beim dazugehörigen Mailorder und Plattenlabel. Seit 2016 ist sie die Inhaberin der GmbH. Ronja veranstaltet Punkkonzerte, ist Autorin im eigenen Fanzine und leidenschaftlich Gast auf Wave-, Metal- und Punkshows.
Ronja Schwikowski, born in Regensburg in 1983, was socialized through punk in Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia. Between 2007 and 2012 she published the Influenza fanzine, in all issues of the A5 copyshop zine the topic „women in punk“ was in the foreground. Since 2014 she has been editor-in-chief at the Plastic Bomb fanzine and managing director of the associated mail order and record label. She has been the owner of the GmbH since 2016. Ronja organizes punk concerts, is the author of her own fanzine and a passionate guest at wave, metal and punk shows.
Bianca Kollinger lebt in Mannheim, ist Inhaber*in eines veganen Unverpacktladens und Macher*in vom Zine »Okapi Riot«. Bianca beschäftigt sich mit Antisexismus und Awareness in der Punkszene. Biancas Geschichte heißt „Smells Like Zine Spirit“. Warum wir uns nicht davon abhalten lassen sollten, etwas Neues auszuprobieren.
